Coolie vs War 2 box office day 3: The most anticipated films, Rajinikanth’s Coolie and Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer film War 2, released on the same day that is August 14. Both the films opened with mixed reviews from the audience and is facing close competition from each other. As of day three, both the films have crossed Rs 110 crore mark. But Rajinikanth’s Coolie is racing ahead of War 2 in terms of the box office collection. Let’s take a look at their day 3 box office earnings respectively.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the action thriller has soared above the Rs 123.48 crore mark in India in just three days after its release. On its 3rd day, the film has earned approx Rs 6.3 crore for all languages, making the total to Rs 124.8 crore.

With a cast that includes Akkineni Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, and Aamir Khan, the movie has received positive reviews in theatres all over the country. Particularly in Tamil Nadu, fans have transformed screenings into joyous occasions complete with dancing, singing, and large crowds.

Sacnilk reports that while the first two days of War 2 were spectacular, the third day saw a sharp decline in box office receipts, with just Rs 2.45 Cr India net across all languages (figures subject to change).
This is a sharp decline from the amazing Rs 52 Cr (Day 1) and Rs 56.35 Cr (Day 2), for those tracking the movie’s performance.
About War 2
War 2, the sixth film in YRF’s Spy Universe, also stars Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor, with Bobby Deol appearing in a cameo. The spy thriller is directed by Ayan Mukerji. Interestingly, its two-day earnings have already exceeded those of War, its predecessor, which earned Rs 77.77 crore over the same time frame. It also surpassed the two-day earnings of the previous spy universe action film, Tiger 3 (Rs 103.75 crore), which starred Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan.
