Parineeti Chopra recalls her first rasoi experience on The Great Indian Kapil Show 3. The twist will leave you laughing. Read on.
The Great Indian Kapil Show, a Netflix show hosted by Kapil Sharma, recently featured Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and her politician husband Raghav Chadha. The couple recounted a number of stories regarding their marriage and relationship. Parineeti revealed the food she prepared for her pehli rasoi, the first kitchen custom at Indian Hindu weddings, during the show. She remembered Raghav’s response to it, too. During the performance, the actress disclosed that she was unaware of the pehli rasoi ceremony.
She said, “I didn’t even know how to make a toast. I had to google how to make Halwa, and later I took help from my mother-in-law. Bhut tasty bana tha and I was excited to make it taste to Raghav.”
Romantic halwa plan misses sweet feedback
She continued, “I thought it would be a romantic moment to serve Raghav this halwa in the evening. He came, had it, and I was waiting for feedback but didn’t get any.”
Who actually made the halwa?
Raghav, on the other hand, revealed that he had previously guessed that his mother had made the halwa and praised her already for doing so.
He recalled, “Nakal main bhi akal chahiye, thoda sa toh badal dete flavour. Bilkul maa waala halwa. Parineeti then quipped, “I’ll not make halwa for you from now on.”

For those who don’t know, Parineeti and Raghav initially met in London at an event where the British Council was meant to present them with honours. After talking with the actress at the event, Raghav asked her to have breakfast with him the following morning.
