‘Never Seen Anyone As Well-Behaved As Shah Rukh Khan’
Legendary singer Sonu Nigam recently shared his heartfelt admiration for superstar Shah Rukh Khan, with whom he has delivered some of Bollywood’s biggest musical hits. In a recent interview, Sonu opened up about his personal and professional relationship with the actor, praising his humility and generous nature above all else.
The singer, who has worked with almost every major star in the industry, made it clear that Shah Rukh Khan holds a special place in his heart. He explained that SRK’s character and consistent good behavior are qualities that set him apart from everyone else.
‘The Most Well-Behaved Actor’
In the interview, Sonu Nigam called Shah Rukh Khan a truly special person in Bollywood. He said that in all his years in the industry, he has never met another major actor who is as humble and well-behaved as SRK.
He mentioned that while he has also recently become friends with Aamir Khan, whom he considers a wonderful person, Shah Rukh Khan’s consistent good nature over decades is something truly unique. Sonu believes that despite SRK’s massive success, he has never let it affect his personality or how he treats others.
A Habit of Giving Credit
One thing Sonu particularly appreciates about Shah Rukh is his habit of always giving credit where it’s due. He explained that SRK has always made it a point to mention him and thank him for his songs, which is a rare quality in the industry.
Sonu said that often, singers don’t get properly acknowledged for their hit songs, but Shah Rukh has always been an exception. This generosity has made his respect for the superstar grow even more over their many years of collaboration on songs like Kal Ho Naa Ho, Suraj Hua Maddham, and Main Agar Kahoon.
Why Sonu Nigam Quit Acting
During the conversation, Sonu also talked about his own short career as an actor. He acted in movies like Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani and Kash Aap Hamare Hote. However, he was very disappointed with how the films turned out. He recalled signing Jaani Dushman thinking it would be a success because of big stars like Akshay Kumar and Sunny Deol, but it failed. These bad experiences made him decide to leave acting and focus completely on his very successful music career.
