The 11th round of India-Australia CECA talks was held in New Delhi from August 18–23, 2025, covering goods, services, digital trade, rules of origin, and more.
Both sides reaffirmed commitment to a balanced, mutually beneficial pact and will continue talks virtually.
The round highlights India’s drive to expand trade ties and strengthen economic partnerships globally.

The discussions covered a wide range of areas including goods, services and mobility, digital trade, rules of origin, legal and institutional provisions, environment, labour, and gender, bringing greater understanding and convergence on the remaining provisions.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the Ind-Aus CECA and ensuring it delivers meaningful benefits, economic opportunities, and a balanced outcome for both countries, the Ministry of Commerce & Industry said in a release.

To maintain momentum and achieve convergence, the partners will continue negotiations through virtual intersessional meetings.
