TN Chief Minister Stalin urges Centre to strongly oppose the US’ 50% tariff on India

Now there is a crisis to defeat the imperialist conspiracies all over the world. Imperialist conspiracies are not merely the result of waging war. The US imposition of a 50 per cent tariff on India is a similar conspiracy. This should be strongly opposed by the BJP government in the Centre. The BJP government at the Centre and Prime Minister Narendra Modi should give a clear answer on this, said Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin.

Participating in an event organised by the Marxist Communist Party on Save the Socialist Cuba, Stalin said, with five rounds of trade talks between India and the US and the date fixed for the sixth round of talks, why should US President Donald Trump unilaterally announce a tax hike?

Trump has repeatedly said that he stopped the Indo-Pak war. Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not respond to questions raised by the Opposition in both Houses of Parliament. This is a sign of his weakness, said Stalin.
