Spider-Man’s Most Underrated Variant Just Got the Suit Upgrade He’s Always Deserved
One classic Spider-Man variant, from the late ‘70s live-action Japanese Spider-Man series, just got an awesome new upgrade in Marvel lore. Takuya Yamashiro is often considered an underrated incarnation of the Webslinger, but as he joins up with a team of heroes from across Marvel’s vast Spider-Verse to battle a bunch of Venom variants, the hero finally gets his due.
Spider-Verse vs Venomverse #3, escalates the all-out brawl between the many versions of the hero and villain, with Takuya Yamashiro added to the mix at a critical juncture.
As part of the issue, Yamashiro gets a new costume, and by the end, appears to be at the helm of a giant Spider-Mech, in a stunning turn of events.
