Coolie vs War 2 box office collection day 17
According to Sacnilk, Rajinikanth’s Coolie surpassed War 2 on its 17th day at the box office. Coolie grossed Rs 2.65 crore, while War 2 made Rs 1.10 crore. This makes Coolie’s net total Rs 275.85 crore which is 120 percent more than Hrithik’s spy drama which earned Rs 233 crore.
What is the budget of Coolie and War 2?
Speaking about Coolie, the movie made Rs 41.85 crore in its second week after earning Rs 229.65 crore in its first. In contrast, War 2 brought in Rs 27 crore in its second week after earning Rs 204.25 crore in its first.
Both movies have a long way to go before being deemed hits, even with these figures. According to reports, War 2 cost Rs 325 crore to produce, while Coolie was created on a budget of Rs 350 crore. Neither movie has yet to recoup its expenditure.
About Coolie
Rajinikanth plays the main lead in the film. Simon, the main antagonist, is portrayed by Nagarjuna. The actor previously said in a statement that the movie has received a huge amount of positive feedback. Breaking records felt inevitable, and he called Coolie a “celebration of legacy and reinvention.” Aamir Khan makes a surprise appearance in the film, which also stars Shruti Haasan, Upendra, and Soubin Shahir.

Ayan Mukerji is the director and Yash Raj Films is the producer of War 2, the sequel to the 2019 movie War, which is said to have a budget of Rs 300–400 crore. In addition to Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, Kiara Advani, Ashutosh Rana, and Anil Kapoor play important parts in the film. “Things get complicated when Kabir Dhaliwal, a secret agent, is accused of betraying his nation and his former batchmate Vikram is assigned the task of finding him,” stated film database platform IMDb while describing the plot of the film.
