Philippines' GDP improves by 5.5% in Q2 FY25

In Q2 2025, the Philippines’ GDP grew 5.5 per cent year-on-year, driven by services like trade, public administration, and finance.
All major sectors posted growth, with agriculture leading at 7.0 per cent.
On the demand side, household spending rose 5.5 per cent, and GNI increased 8.2 per cent, boosted by a 32.8 per cent rise in Net Primary Income from abroad.
