Now, there is an update about this project. As per reports in HT City, Panchayat actor Jitendra Kumar is reportedly joining the cast of Mirzapur The Film. Ravi Kishan is also joining the team. The source close to the portal said, “Jitendra and Ravi Kishan have joined the cast of the film. The mahurat puja took place on Thursday, and both were present at the celebrations. Their characters are being kept as a big surprise for the fans.”
The source also shared that the look tests and reading sessions of the cast have already started and will continue for the next few days. Jitendra and Ravi Kishan have reportedly joined the pre-production work and the film will go on floors next month. This is a big story in entertainment news.
The film was announced in 2024 and is slated for a 2026 theatrical release across India. It is created by Puneet Krishna and directed by Gurmmeet Singh
