Actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who played Mrs. Roshan Sodhi on the show, made shocking allegations against him.

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, she opened up about the incidents that led her to accuse Modi of sexual harassment. Jennifer recalled her 2018 conflict with the show’s Operation Head, Sohail Ramani and claimed that he verbally abused her over the phone. She approached Asit Modi for help, and he said, ‘You look sexy’.
She also spoke about an incident from 2022 when she requested a visa letter for her Switzerland trip and started crying over the call. She said that Modi allegedly told her, “Why are you crying? If you were here, I would hug you. I would take a chance. You don’t care about me.” She left everyone shocked with a disturbing interaction during a 2019 overseas shoot in Singapore and said he approached her and said that ‘Your roommate goes out every day. Why don’t you come to my room and drink whiskey? You wouldn’t get bored alone’.

Jennifer even said that she tried to ignore these remarks, but later realised the gravity of the situation. She said that another incident followed at a coffee shop during the same Singapore trip, wherein he allegedly came very close to her and said, “Your lips are very sexy. It makes me want to hold you and kiss you.” Jennifer revealed she was shocked with his comment. Jennifer even said that she spoke about the same with co-star Mandar Chandwadkar who plays the role of Atmaram Tukaram Bhide in the show and told him about her experience. She cried as she said that he did not stand up for her.
