A trader from Surat told Fibre*Fashion, “Spinning mills producing speciality polyester yarn have raised prices before the GST rate cut on September **. They wanted to improve their margins ahead of the GST reduction, which caused the price hike. Mills are expected to reduce prices after September ****, once the GST cut comes into effect.”
