Hyderabad: A local court has sentenced one Bharath Kumar (27) to three years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 for molesting a 17-year-old girl at Madannapet in 2021.
Bharath Kumar visited the girl’s home pretending to inquire about a rental portion and overpowered and molested her.
Based on the girl’s complaint, the Madannapet police booked a case and arrested him.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand appreciated the investigation team for their efforts in securing conviction in the case.
