Do Patti, KMKZ Says He Got No Response Back From T-Series: WATCH
The popular song Raanjhan from the OTT film Do Patti, starring Kajol and Kriti Sanon, is now in the middle of a big controversy. An international music producer named KMKZ has accused music giant T-Series and composers Sachet-Parampara of plagiarizing his music for the song.
KMKZ posted a video on Instagram explaining the situation. He claims that the hit song, which has hundreds of millions of views, uses his musical beats without his permission. He also stated that he was not paid or given any credit for his work, and his attempts to contact the music label have been completely ignored.
How The Producer Found Out
In his video, KMKZ shared the surprising story of how he discovered the issue. He explained that he is a music producer who sells his beats online. About two years ago, he posted the beat that he claims was used in Raanjhan. He had no idea it was being used until a fan recently sent him a message.
The fan recognized the distinct piano melody in the Do Patti song as one of KMKZ’s beats and noticed that he was not listed in the credits. Curious, KMKZ listened to the song himself and said he was shocked to find his work in a song that was a massive hit in India.
The Shock Of Millions Of Streams
KMKZ was stunned to see the song’s success. He pointed out that Raanjhan has over 290 million streams on Spotify and more than 33 crore (330 million) views on YouTube. After finding this out, he immediately tried to get in touch with the people involved.
“I emailed the artist. I emailed everybody at T-Series that I could find and I got zero response from anybody,” he said in his video. He feels the company simply “ripped the beat off of YouTube” without any professional courtesy.
‘I DEMAND A PLAQUE’: Producer Asks for Help
Frustrated by the lack of response, KMKZ is now asking for help on social media to get his story heard. He has asked his followers to share his video so it can reach the right people in the music industry who can help him.
He ended his post by highlighting how common it is for producers to get their work stolen, but the scale of this situation is “crazy.” He made his demand clear and simple: “I DEMAND A PLAQUE.” This shows he is seeking official recognition for his contribution to the hit song.
