Bhuvan Bam Opens Up On Starring In Karan Johar’s ‘Kuku Ki Kundali’ With Wamiqa Gabbi
India’s favourite YouTube star, Bhuvan Bam, is all set to make his grand Bollywood debut. And he’s not doing it with just any film, he’s stepping into the industry with Kuku Ki Kundali, a romantic comedy backed by none other than Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions.
From making funny videos in his room to headlining a Dharma film, Bhuvan’s journey has been nothing short of amazing. After winning hearts on the internet and proving his acting skills in the web series Taaza Khabar, this is the next big step. In the film, he will be seen sharing the screen with the talented Wamiqa Gabbi.
A Dream Debut With A Pinch of Fear
For any outsider, a Dharma launch is the biggest dream, and Bhuvan is living it. But he admits that along with the excitement, he also feels a little scared. He shared that getting such a huge opportunity feels unreal and he worries about doing justice to the role.
“It looks great from the outside that this is happening to a guy from Malviya Nagar, Delhi, who had nothing except a vision that he should entertain people,” Bhuvan said, showing his humble side. He added that he’s a bit of a pessimist and gets nervous when good things happen, wondering if he can pull it off. This honesty is exactly why fans love him!

At the end of the day, Bhuvan’s biggest goal is to stay connected with his audience. He wants everyone who watches the film to feel like they are watching one of their own on the big screen.
He explained, “My aim with this film is that whoever watches it should feel, ‘The guy on the screen is one of our own.’” He hopes his story inspires others to believe that if you work hard, you can achieve anything, no matter where you come from. This is the Bhuvan Bam everyone knows and relates to.

Bhuvan’s confidence gets a big boost from the fantastic team working on the film. Kuku Ki Kundali is being directed by Sharan Sharma, the same director who made the successful film Mr & Mrs Mahi.
