NTPC Green Energy & BSPGCL ink pact for clean energy projects in Bihar
NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL) for development of Battery Energy Storage Projects and Renewable Energy Project for decarbonization and energy transition in the state of Bihar.
NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) signed a memorandum of understanding with Bihar State Power Generation Co Ltd (BSPGCL) on July 26, 2025, to develop battery energy storage and renewable energy projects in Bihar.
The agreement aims to support decarbonisation and energy transition, in the presence of Bihar’s Energy and Industries Ministers and senior officials.
The MoU was signed on 26th July’2025 between Sh. Sarit Maheswari, CEO (NGEL & NREL) and Sh. Abdesh Kumar Singh, Director Technical (BSPGCL), shared in the presence of the Hon’ble Minister of Energy, Planning & Development of Govt. of Bihar Sh. Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Hon’ble Minister of Industries of Govt. of Bihar Sh. Nitish Mishra, ACS, Department of Industries, Secretary Department of Energy and other senior officials from Government of Bihar.
