The makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah are leaving no stones unturned in adding major twists and turns in their upcoming episodes. Audiences are eagerly waiting for Disha Vakani aka Dayaben’s return to the show.

Actress Nidhi Bhanushali, who played the role of Sonu in the show, walked down the lane as she remembered the most treasured memories from the show. Nidhi chose to pursue a new path and quit the show. In the interview with News18, she spoke about the strong and warm connection she had with Disha. Nidhi also spoke about Dayaben and said that Disha is truly one of the kindest, most generous people she has known. Nidhi said that Disha’s admiration of Disha is quite evident, and she is always warm, welcoming, and full of light. Nidhi said that growing up, she admired her deeply, not just for her incredible talent and comic timing, but for the gentleness in her nature and the depth in her perspective and looked up to her. Nidhi even revealed that Disha was a close friend of her mother and they had that extra warmth and familiarity.
Nidhi spoke about Disha’s return to the show and said, “I honestly don’t think that’s for any of us to decide. It’s her life, her journey, and only she gets to choose what she wants to do with it. As much as the audience and all of us who love her may wish for her comeback, the only thing we should do is respect her decision, support her unconditionally, and wish her the very best. We owe her that, for all the years of laughter, love, and magic she gave us through her presence.”
Nidhi was part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for many years and she left the show later. Makers roped in Palak Sindhwani to play the role of Sonu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
