Actor Teases Title Of Fourth Film With Vishal Bhardwaj And Character Details
It’s a big day for fans of powerful cinema! Shahid Kapoor has officially finished shooting for his fourth film with the master director, Vishal Bhardwaj. The actor took to Instagram on Sunday to announce the wrap with an emotional post, calling the director a “special man” and promising that the film, reportedly titled Romeo, is going to be “SUPER SPECIAL.”
“I Am Kaminey, I Am Haider, And Now I Am…”
In his post, Shahid shared a behind-the-scenes picture with Vishal Bhardwaj and wrote a heartfelt caption that has sent fans into a frenzy. He teased his new role by writing, “A titular part from him for the 3rd time. I am one of the KAMINEY I am HAIDER and now I am ……..” This cryptic message has sparked massive curiosity, with everyone guessing what his new character’s name and story will be.
This project is the fourth time the iconic duo has worked together, after giving audiences unforgettable films like Kaminey, the award-winning Haider, and Rangoon. Their collaborations are known for pushing boundaries, and this new action musical is expected to be another masterpiece.
A Stellar Ensemble Cast
Shahid also gave a huge shout-out to the film’s incredible cast. He praised his co-star, the talented Tripti Dimri, saying he had a “total blast” working with her. He also thanked the legendary Nana Patekar for the powerful and “layered scenes” they shot together, hinting at some intense on-screen drama.
The actor didn’t stop there. He also mentioned Farida Jalal, Avinash Tiwary, and Disha Patani, revealing that he and Disha have “killed” two songs in the film. To add to the excitement, Shahid hinted that another one of his “favourite actors” is also in the movie, but his identity is being kept a secret for now. This star-studded lineup promises some truly brilliant performances.

Reportedly titled Romeo, the film is an action musical directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. It marks his fourth collaboration with Shahid Kapoor. The star-studded cast also includes Tripti Dimri, Nana Patekar, Disha Patani, and others. The film is reportedly scheduled for a December 5, 2025 release.
