In a final and official update that will disappoint many fans, global superstar Diljit Dosanjh will no longer be a part of the highly anticipated comedy sequel, No Entry 2. After months of speculation, it has been confirmed that the actor has exited the project.

It’s important to note that his departure is not due to any creative differences or controversies. The decision is solely the result of a packed schedule that could not be aligned with the film’s production timeline.

Why Did Diljit Leave The Film?

The core issue was a classic case of date clashes. The makers of No Entry 2, including producer Boney Kapoor and director Anees Bazmee, were planning to begin shooting in October 2025. However, this timeline directly conflicts with Diljit’s previously announced “Aura Tour” in Australia and New Zealand, which is scheduled from October 26 to November 13.

Following his international tour, Diljit has other film commitments lined up, leaving no available dates for the sequel. According to sources, the decision to part ways was mutual and completely amicable between the actor and the producers.

The End Of A Super Exciting Casting

The news comes as a setback for fans who were eagerly waiting to see the fresh and exciting trio of Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Arjun Kapoor on the big screen. The casting had generated immense buzz. The makers were also very keen on having Diljit on board, with Boney Kapoor personally meeting him in July to try and work out the schedule after initial reports of his exit had surfaced. Unfortunately, the logistics proved too challenging.

What’s Next for ‘No Entry 2’?

With Diljit’s exit, the makers are now on the lookout for a new actor to step into the role and complete the lead trio. This is a significant challenge, as finding a top star with available dates at such short notice is difficult. This casting change might cause further delays for the much-awaited project. The hunt is now officially on for a new star to join the madness of the No Entry Comedy.
