Snõõper Barks Back with Fiery New Single

Snõõper are a rowdy, experimental punk outfit from Nashville, known for their buzzing “egg‑punk” energy and DIY bravado. Fronted by the dynamic Blair Tramel and guitarist Connor Cummins, the band has expanded into a full ensemble including bassist Happy Haugen, drummer Brad Barteau, and guitarist Conner Sullivan. Their debut full-length album Super Snõõper (2023) earned them critical praise for its frenetic mash-up of garage rock, surf, and synth, proving that Snõõper thrives on chaos, wit, and high‑velocity hooks.

“Guard Dog” is Snõõper’s second single from their eagerly anticipated sophomore album Worldwide, due October 3 via Third Man Records. The track arrives as a jittery, edgy blast of egg‑punk—the kind of tune that both rattles and invigorates. Lyrically, it grapples with growth, self-doubt, pressure, and the struggle to shed limiting perceptions. Blair Tramel’s lyrics cut sharply in the chorus:
