Suneetha Reddy to sell 1.25% stake in Apollo Hospitals
Suneetha Reddy, part of the promoter group of Apollo Hospitals Enterprises, plans to sell 1.8 million shares or 1.25 per cent equity in the company for a total amount of ₹1,394.5 crore, according to a term sheet.
The shares will be offered through a block deal on Friday, with a floor price of ₹7,747 per share, a discount of 2.3 per cent to its closing price on Thursday.
Morgan Stanley will be running the book.
Reddy held 3.36 per cent stake in the company at the end of June, exchange filings showed. The promoter group, as a whole, holds 29.3 per cent stake, while the various individuals of the Reddy family hold 10.35 per cent.
Stock price
Shares of Apollo Hospitals have risen over a fourth over the last six months and 17 per cent over a one-year period.
The company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹432.8 crore in the June quarter on revenue of ₹5,842 crore.
