Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra makes kidney donation offer to Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan visit
During a spiritual visit in Vrindavan, Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra offered his kidney to Premanand Maharaj, when the saint revealed that both his kidneys had failed.
Recently, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra paid a visit to spiritual leader Premanand Ji Maharaj in Vrindavan. A video has surfaced online where Raj has offered his kidney to the saint during an interaction. The video surfaced after he and Shilpa were booked by the Mumbai police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) and were booked for allegedly cheating a 60-year-old businessman out of Rs 60.48 crore.
What were Shilpa and Raj doing?
In the video, Raj and his wife Shilpa were having a conversation with Premanand Maharaj. During their conversation, Premanand revealed that both his kidneys had failed and he’d been dealing with this serious health condition for the past ten years. Even with this tough situation, he wasn’t scared, saying that God’s call could come anytime. This really moved Raj, and he made a declaration that was emotional and caught everyone off guard, including Shilpa and said, ‘I have been following you for two years. Your videos always resolve my doubts and fears. You inspire many. Knowing your health condition, I want you to know that if I can help, one of my kidneys is yours.’
What did Premanand Maharaj reply?
However, Premanand Maharaj declined Raj’s offer and replied, ‘It is enough for me that you remain happy. We will not leave this world because of a kidney until the time comes. But I sincerely accept your goodwill.’
The couple’s visit has captured the attention of the devotees and fans. Reports say that the couple spent time in a really peaceful and spiritual place, listening carefully to the saint’s teachings. Shilpa asked about the practice of chanting ‘Radha’ and wanted to know how to do it. Maharaj told her that chanting could help her get out from under her troubles and that following the guidance of saints leads to a life that’s really fulfilling.
As per multiple media reports, Shilpa and her husband Raj have been booked by the Mumbai police’s Economic Offences Wing for allegedly cheating a businessman, Deepak Kothari, of Rs 60.48 crore. Deepak claimed that he had invested the money in their company, Best Deal TV Private Limited. However, the couple have denied the claims and called it baseless and malicious.
