Hyderabad Traffic Police announce traffic diversions for ISKCON Janmashtami event

Hyderabad Traffic Police announced diversions on August 16 from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m. in the Abid Road area for the Lord Sri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsava at ISKCON Temple. Alternative routes and parking at Exhibition Grounds, Nampally, are suggested for devotees.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced traffic diversions in the Abid Road area and surrounding routes on August 16 from 4 am to 11 pm in connection with the ‘Lord Sri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsava’ at the ISKCON Temple.

Routes to be avoided:

• Yousuf & Company – Jawaharlal Nehru Road – Abids Circle – Old Hyderabad Collector Office – Chirag Ali – Nampally Station Road

Diversions:

• Traffic from Gunfoundry and Tilak Road towards Nampally Station Road will be diverted at GPO Junction towards MJ Market.

• Traffic from Jambagh Road and SA Bazar Mosque towards GPO Junction will be diverted at MJ Market via Gandhi Bhavan and Chappel Road.

• Vehicles from Nampally towards Koti Bank Street will take HP Petrol Pump – ACB Lane – Yousuf & Company – Troop Bazar – Koti Bank Street.

• Traffic from BJP State Office will be diverted at Abids Traffic Junction towards MJ Market Road.

Parking: Devotees visiting the ISKCON Temple can park at the Exhibition Grounds, Nampally.
