How much did Coolie collect?
According to Sacnilk, Rajinikanth starrer Coolie has collected a total of Rs 35.51 crore early estimate, on its opening day. The numbers will increase with the addition of the evening show. Coolie is Rajinikanth’s 171st film, and is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures. Apart from Rajinikanth, it also stars Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj and Aamir Khan. The film is made with a budget of around Rs 400 crore.
How much did War 2 collect?
As per Hrithik Roshan’s War 2, the film has collected a total of Rs 21.42 crore early estimates on Day 1. This is for the morning and afternoon show; the numbers are expected to increase with the addition of evening and night shows. The film is released in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages. War 2 is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. The film stars Hrithik Roshan, N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. It is a sequel to the 2019 film War.
Interestingly, Coolie is leading the box office collection despite its clash with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s action-packed film War 2. The clash of the two films has grabbed the attention of Jr NTR as War 2 marks his Bollywood debut. Meanwhile, Coolie was released to celebrate Rajinikanth’s 50 glorious years in the entertainment industry. Both films received positive reviews from the audience.
