Retail turnover up by over 3% in June: CBS

Turnover in the non-food sector was up by 3.1 per cent in June, year-on-year. Sales volume (turnover adjusted for price changes) was up by 2.9 per cent in June 2024. Turnover in the clothing sector saw a 0.6 per cent rise in June, year-on-year.

Turnover among online retailers was up by 6.9 per cent in June, year on year. Online retailers (whose core activity is selling goods and services over the internet) recorded an increase in turnover of 10.3 per cent.

Retail turnover in the Netherlands rose by 3.3 per cent in June 2025 compared to June 2024, with sales volume up 1.8 per cent, according to Statistics Netherlands (CBS).
Non-food sector turnover grew 3.1 per cent, while clothing saw a 0.6 per cent increase.
Online retail turnover rose 6.9 per cent, with internet-based retailers posting a 10.3 per cent gain.
