Chance Of Tropical Development Increases Off Southeast Coast
The National Hurricane Center’s latest update increases the chances for tropical development in the Atlantic this week. The area is off the east coast of North Carolina and has a 40% chance of development in the next 48 hours and a 40% chance of development in the next 7 days. The area of interest is now named Invest 95L. Regardless of tropical development, heavy rainfall is expected across the Southeast in the coming days along a stalled frontal boundary.
